Books for Kids-Places new and gently used books in clinics and crises centers across Tulare County. Most of these books go home with children who have no books of their own. We work collaboratively with family shelters, crisis centers and free clinics to furnish reading corners with plenty of good children’s books. Children may read in the book nook while they are visiting, and when they leave they may take the book as a gift. We’ve also provided reference material and literature for study centers at Linnell Camp and Exeter Youth Camp.
